| As much as I like Acuras, for almost half the price of an NSX I could be very happy in a 'Vette... |

| Looks very sweet. I'm glad to finally see zenon, On-Star, and navigation being offered. All are long over-due on this car. I'm very pleased with my C5 and the question is to I consider upgrading? |

The new Vette looks sweet :D But if you need a fast ride that is a lot less $$ (~ $20k per Ford - prob the V6 thou) check out the 2005 Mustang. It sure looks like the 1967 fastback - I loved that style  The pics of the 2005 interior look like crap though.........

Just don't expect much money for your Vette if you sell it. My C5 lost approx. 50% value in just 3 years. |

I have seen advertisements for large volume dealers selling the '04 Corvettes at up to $9,000 below sticker. That stuff just kills the resale market. I think that is one of the reasons that the X's have been holding their value so well - dealers not discounting them to much.
Fortunately my '94 is hopefully about as depreciated as it is going to get. I am looking forward to a late '05 or early '06 convertible :D |

I will trade my C5 after a couple of years. Let the bugs get worked out and they may add a few more hp to the base engine. Would love a Z06, but gotta have the targa. |

I'm with you...I have to have a convertible. Once you have a ragtop there is no going back.
My C5 is a bit rare with how it's configured so it's not going anywhere anytime soon. I know it will be years before it's worth anything, but the same was said the the 63 convertibles many years ago.
I'm glad to see GM step up and compete with the other brands. Lord knows they have the talent and resources to do it; just a matter of focus. |
