10-30-03 readverstises 4 items for sale. Several members asked questions, no public response.
12-03-03 readvertises "front spoiler" (really lower trim) and sidestep, no public response to member question
12-15-03 readvertises lower trim but now its been changed to "OEM Acura Spoiler" painted black, doesn't specify front or back, so readers would think its a rear spoiler painted black. Again, no public response to member inquiry.
12-15-03 member places WTB add for '03 taillight, and CREOLE03 cheerfully responds to be e-mailed, "maybe I can help". He has an extra 03 taillight? Weird.
12-30-03 member requests offers for 03 roof rack, and guess who responds with e-mail me, "maybe I can help."
The roof rack wasn't on the list of items for sale since 8-2-03, but of course CREOLE03 has a right to suddenly relieve him/herself of the burden of a roof rack on a whim (hope he/she knows about replacing the u-channel trim), but also suddenly offering up an 03 taillight? Very few people (maybe 2, I being one of them?) have upgraded their pre-04 taillights to 04 lights and have an extra taillight to sell, and for someone who is stripping off all major accessories from the front, top, bottom and inside of the vehicle (removing the lower trim, which was installed for one month, requires retrofitting with an entirely new front bulkhead fascia, very expensive for little benefit, sounds suspicious), such that it just doesn't fit a consistent profile.
My purpose of this post is to substantiate the validity and legitimacy of CREOLE03's six classified posts. Either he has PM'd every inquiring member except me (my own PM seeking a purchase remains unanswered), or he has not taken responsibility for any of his six posts offering items for sale.
Has any forum members received a PM from CREOLE03? Can a moderator verify PM status for us?
I could be wrong about all this, in which case I would regrete and retract my insinuations. But because I don't see any public resonses and my own personal private message was not responded to, I am led to this conclusion. I want to protect fellow members from needless consideration, anticipation, and frustration if these are not sincere posts.

I believe that I almost bought a cargo cover from him. He did communicate with me via email. But in the end, I changed my mind about it.
However, he did set up a paypal account to do the transaction. |

I bought a cargo cover from him. We had great communication over PM, email and over the phone. He shipped the product very quickly and was packaged well also.
I don't know what kind of experience everybody else had, but from my experience, I would recommend him. |

Its just that some people do not know you. And short replies worry them. There are lots of scam artists out there. I vouch that George (CREOLE03) is not a scam artist. I bought stuff from him before and he even got me the install manuals for those items. He has been very helpful. If he missed your email or a pm, just pm again, after all we all are trying to help each other, this is what this board is for. |

CREOLE03 noticed my WTB ad in the Classified section, PM'd me, we exchanged e-mails, I received my barely used beige cargo cover (like he said) for the great price of $55 (free shipping), and am now giving credit where credit is due. He's been a pleasure to deal with. I'll buy more from him I'm sure!

Been PM-ing with Creole03 and received some clarification.
My conclusions are that:
He is not a troll, but just too busy to respond sometimes or to deal with e-mail glitches that require further steps, such as with ISP spamkilling software.
His business may also have led to his rushing his posts out and his inability to clearly communicate himself, or sometimes to specify nomenclature subtleties (spoiler vs. lower front trim).
He has "access" to miscellaneous parts because of his position at an Acura dealer, parts which would otherwise be discarded for no other reason than inventory control (perhaps used/opened). Which explains why he might have a left rear taillight or roofrack handy.
Seems to mean well and is doing this mainly to help out the forum membership. I assume he will be distinguishing parts he "obtains" from the dealship, and parts he personally owns, just so our conscious is clear (if management says get rid of it, its okay, but money under the table w/out tacit agreement is a no-no to me).
My appreciation to Creole03 for responding to my inquiries and my apologies for questioning his existence and his character. I do feel that a little clarification on his part at the onset would have prevented these problems. If he can only check the board a couple of times each month, its okay, we just need to be told.
