| Costco is selling Power Acoustik Combo 10” wide (16:9) monitor with DVD player for $799. I'm wondering if anyone has installed it in X by his/herself. How difficult/easy was the installation? Since the DVD player and the screen are in one unit, the installation is supposed to be easier than those models with separated DVD player and screen. However, the sunroof may add some challenges. I'm considering to install it by myself, so any help on how to deal with the roof structure would be highly appreciated. |

| due to the sunroof. You would have to fabricate your own mounts, I do not have this unit but I have a 10' flipdown screen in my X. I still have full function of the sunroof. The install was accomplished by using the thinnest lexan to use as a mounting base on the inside of the headliner. Good luck on the install. I have seen the 7' headrest monitors in this brand. They are quite nice but you might really want to check out the pixels on the 10'. If you really want a very good 10' flipdown w/ DVD you should really check out Icon TV. They make one of the most affordable but best quality monitors for the money. This brand has earned a few awards as well. I'm pretty sure some of the pros in this forum have come across the Icon TV brand, and could probably give their personal insights as well. |

The biggest challenges for me seems to be the removal of the headliner. Do you have any suggestions on that? Thanks for your help. |
