| Howdy! Just got the MDX for the wife and I need to get the front window's tinted to match the rest of the X. Don't think it should cost as much as the dealer is quoting. Any good shops in the DFW area? |

Welcome to our part of the virtual world. You should post in the general section to to get aquainted with some folks. I'm in the DFW area too and I've used Moonshadow for tinting. I understand that is who Goodson Acura uses also.
I'm sure you will see these from members also...

I have been a member of the Corvetteforum.com for over 5 years and still don't have pictures of my ride up. How long do you think it will take me to get pictures of my wife's ride up on here!

definately dont do it at the dealership... i did, at david mcdavid, and dished out 150 bucks... they had mine done by ProTint or something like it, it's a local tint store, and i bet if you call them direcetly, they will charge you half of what i paid...
the tint work is good though... |

Went to Moonshadows on Buckner and walked in and the place looked pimp'n. No one at the counter, stood there a bit no one came out. Afraid of possible drug deal going on in the back so they could not be interuppted so I left.
Went to Sun Masters on Midway $69 in and out in less than 30 minutes and now all the windows match. Did 35% legal route as its the wifes car. My vette is 15% and its actually too dark for driving at night. I can barely use the side mirrors and forget seeing out the back.
While I was there they were tinting the windows on Michael Finley's (Mavericks) new Aston Martin. Figured it for a decent shop after that. |
