Would someone please post the instructions to remove the lower dash panel under the steering wheel of the X. I saw these instructions on the forum some time ago before I received the new X, but search as I may, I cannot fine the instructions again.
I seem to remember that you remove the side panel at the end of the dash by prying it off and then remove a screw holding the panel under the steering wheel. I need to remove to install a XM radio.

Hi jcthomas,
I don't know what year you have and I hope we are talking about the same thing. My 03 panel below the steering wheel has a turn knob on it. Turn this counterclockwise and then shake the panel a bit. You will notice there is a second point of contact and you just need to lift it off of that. I hope this helps. I am talking about the panel just above the brake and gas pedals that hides a lot of wiring. |

Thank you for the feed back. Mine is an '04. I believe that you are referring to the kick panel; I am referring to the panel immediately below the steering wheel housing the cruise control, fog lamp on/off switches and a sensor.
