To those who may have wondered what happened when the special engineer came to listen to my car. He said he could definitely hear the droning. He also said there are two (2) cars in California with the same problem (yeah sure, only two), and they were working on it. He said that when they find a way to rectify the droning noise, I will be contacted. This was on 12/17/03. I have yet to hear from Acura again.
Further to this problem. The salesman that sold me the car called on 1/7/04 and asked how much I was enjoying my new MDX. When I relayed the droning problem to him, he said that he had never heard of this problem but would mention it to management and get right back to me. I'm still waiting for his return call too.
One other thing. I called Acura Customer Relations about this same problem. They, too, said they had no knowledge of it. |
