Hi Crmsnidol:

___Wow! I sure would hate to be that owner. His insurance company is going to balk and say it’s the city’s problem and the city is going to … well I can just imagine the red tape that needs to be wallowed around in to get the individuals Nissan back to perfect looking as well as running condition?

___Great find … Good Luck

I imagine it might go smoother than expected. The Logan section of Philly has been slowly swallowed up by the earth for over a decade. Many blocks have been abandoned and others comdemned. They are blaming this on a water main break but it probably goes deeper than that <--- pun intended.

Wayne - I'll disagree with you on this one. Clear case of liability and it should be handled quite smoothly. Duty breached cause damage, and the city has the responsibility to maintain. Pls, they will be sensitive to "do the right thing" being political and all...

The real question will be one off relative worth of the vehicle. Probably a paid-off Pathfinder and it's worth more to the owner that it is on paper.

Hi BlueStreak:

___I actually don’t have a clue as to how the owner would be reimbursed but figured if a cash strapped city is involved, there will be some painful red tape to cut is all?

___Good Luck

You are definitely not from the Philadelphia area...things don't get done until a few threats to Fox News "What's bugging you segment". There was a case of a large sinkhole on one of the city street and the city didn't do anything about it until the News station was contacted. People in the neighborhood contacted the city for days and all they did was put cones around it.
