How are you guys.
Finally, I got my X on last Saturday. I planned post it that day. I was too excited to test drive for around 200 miles, so I didn't have time to post it.
Long wait has been paid off. I love to drive X. I check drone problem at 2000 RPM & some noises at 70Mph, but I cannot find it.
So I am very satisfy now. Even my wife loves it too. (actually, she and me have a long debate for RX330 vs. MDX)
You guys are perfectly right, MDX is a great car. I will post some pictures this weekend after this cold rain stop.
Thank you guys again for all advice and supports.
I got 2004 MDX SS/Ebony
options list. OEM Chrome Side Step, Fender Flares, BSM(Wide), and Tailgate Spoiler (Matching Color with Body)
PS. Even lots of threads tell me that do not get any accessories from dealer, I could not resist myself take their price because I had to get them right away. I could not wait any longer. |

| The fairer sex tends to prefer the RX, but in the long run I am sure she will enjoy the MDX right along with you! :4: |

Yes, you are right.
I made them happy, but I am happy too.
Comparing Tim's price & Dealer's price, there was $500 difference.
About $500. Yes, that is a lot of money.
However, weekend time is more valuable than $500 to me.
I am sure that install all stuff is take whole day (I guess) & some tools that I need to buy. Also, at least I can have 4 years or 50000 miles warranty on Accessories that installed by Dealer. So I let them do that for $500 more than Tim's Price. I think it is well worth it for me.
The key is I am one happy man who has MDX.
thank you |

Congrats and welcome aboard:1:
I wouldn't feel too bad about your dealer install in light of the time involved. First I would not attempt flares or spoiler either. Steps and BSM is about a 3 to 4 hour job (I've done that). Those who have done spoiler at home will testify that its a sevaral hour job as well. |

kdw88,
Nic pics. You may want to resize your pics to 640 x 480 in the future. It is a shame to see those scrape marks on your front bumper. I hope you will get them fixed to your liking.:29: |

| Nice! The silver is the best exterior color, I think- it works very well with the black interior! Congratulations on your purchase! |

11, Thank you.
I like silver too, but I tried to buy Black/Ebony. However, I have to wait another 6 weeks and pay MSRP (since my dealer do not have it).
I have 2002 TL-S Black/Ebony. I love it most time (execpt when it is dirty). It is hard to keep up with clean, but worth it thou.
Next time, I will definetly buy a Black/Ebony. |

Congrats, awesome ride! What brand and grade of tint did you put
on the front windows? |
|
|
| kdw88 |
| I guess it is 3M and 20%. It is illegal in GA, but every car I bought I have 20% tinted. I paid only $45. |

Very nice looking X.
I normally don't like clear lenses on the rear, but with that nice silver, I think a clear lense mod would "blend" well. |

| Thanks for the info. I've got Madico 35 on mine, I'm thinking about going to a 20... |

Looks good! BTW are the side steps satin chrome or bright chrome?
I will have nearly the same setup (xcept no rear spoiler and flares) in a couple weeks.... |
|
|
| kdw88 |
| I was about install a running board but black color is not stand out much. So I choose Blink Blink.... I think Chrome is a bit better than Satin on SS (personal opinion). |

I just installed Satin Steps yesterday - the finish is more shiny (pardon the grammer) than I anticipated. They are not as satiny as the front grill or the rear trim, however they are not as shiny as the bright chrome.
For most paint colors it is probably six of one and a half dozen of the other:rolleyes: :1: |
