I just got word that the build date on my new mdx is Feb. 4th.
I am getting Black w/saddle, touring W/ navi & RES, BSM, running boards, fender flares, tailgate spoiler, towing package, wheel locks, lower trim, gold emblems, gold inner grill, cargo cover, wood res trim, wood steering wheel and wood meter trim.
We are told we should have it by the 15th or 16th of Feb.
The only question I have is about the lower trim. At first I thought it looked cool but now I'm not so sure.I know it is personal preference but I would love to get some opinions about it.

No, really, take our word for it: avoid the fender flares on Nighthawk Black--especially if the flares aren't body colored. Some things are just too much clutter on a basically clean design.
You can add stuff later anyway.

I'm not a fan of the flares either. I like side steps over the running boards also. I do like the spoiler or deflector because without it the backend is a little dull and flat, IMHO. I think the roof rack keeps it from looking bald. They make the options because people like different things. Pick what suits you. My .002 worth. (Inflation)
Go for what you like since you are the owner and driver. Its a cool ride either way. :cool: |

| The fender flares just bring too much of a truck out as opposed to the SUV we purchased. If you wanted a truck, go buy a Chevy or GMC....The X has a nice clean design. I too like the rear thingy on the rear window, also the sun visor thingy. What also looks good on the Black is the window visors Tim sells. As everyone said, it's what you like !
