When you do a LiveUpdate, check the list of products its going out to get an update for. I don't know whats going on but some systems I manage only have LiveUpdate in the list, no NAV etc. LiveUpdate completes successfully, i.e. LiveUpdate checks only for updates for itself. Subscription information for installed products is missing. Symantec KB has some articles regarding this, but the only one that has worked for me is to reinstall the program.
