The life expectancy of these 8mm white LEDs is 100,000 hours or 11 year. You don't have to replace your fog lights bulb again!

Our two main questions (since the coolness factor is evident already):
1) Light output/lumens/candlepower?
2) Cost? |

I want to make sure you know this fact before you decide to get a pair.
The purpose of this 9006 white LED bulb is to make your fog light look attractive and cool. The light spectrum is a lot whiter than your HID Lowbeam. This bulb is not for use to illuminate the road because it's not bright is very bright when looking at it. If you don't use your fog lights illuminate the road and just want have it on and look cool than you might want to try it out. The cost is $50 a pair shipped.

They look real tight, but $50 is way too much for fog light bulbs.
How about a group buy special? |
|

| Better clear a group buy with admin first. By-the-way I agree $50 is way too expensive:rolleyes: |

How much would you paid for a pair of SilverStar at Autozone?
$52 at least and they only last for six months or so and you still get that yellow light. My bulb will last at least 11 years and you get that super white (whiter than your HID lowbeam) look. If you are interested or not it does not matter because I have huge back orders for TL owners.
Thanks

I wouldn't pay $52 for SilverStars, I have HIDs.
I dont care if it matters to you or not, but I'm letting you know that I damn sure wouldn't pay $50 for your non-illuminating home made bulbs. |

First of all they are bluish not white, second they are useless as lights-they are more like a christmas tree ornament.
BTW I have four sets of christmas lights based on those "white" LEDs-not very bright and not really white either. |

| Easy with the hostilities. It's not like he's forcing you to buy them from him. If you like them and the price is right with you then buy them. If not.... move on to the next forum. Sheesh:7: |

You do have to admire the ingenuity, LEDs are the lights of the future, if you dont believe look at all concept cars coming out, if you dont like it, dont get them simple as that,

| If you can live without your foglights then this is for you. This looks cool. Period. You lose foglight functionality which I dont think is practical. Me thinking loud. |

New ideas and products should always be welcome here. It is a free market (but maybe not a free site, check with admin) and if someone has something that somebody is interested in then go for it. Some people will think it is worth it while others will think not.
Hell half the members don't like half of the stuff from Acura, ie BSMs.
So keep it coming. :1: |

| Way Cool Bro! I will take your concept and make a white and blue pair for my X, I appreciate it! I dont need fog lights year round, and I like the look of them on all the time. I keep blowing out my 9006's that are too hot and blow out every 2 monthe in the fog housing! :4: Your cost seems high, but your time in making them does not come free, and I know they will last, whereas the high power 80-100w bright whites do not. |

| The new A8L has LED day time running lamps....and LED technology is only a few years away from powering head lamps. |

| I think LED lights in the rear signal markers would be good. The LEDs that are clear when they are off then become yellow/orange when lighted. Then the tail lights will only be red and white (no orange). If I had the time I would make some myself. |

Try Walmart. They sell them for $37 a pair. They are actually pretty good. I have tried Cool Blue, Hiper and Opti Blue on my Accord. Silver Star are the brightest one. |
