Here's a poll where you can vote on the actual ads (the theme of the other Superbowl Ad poll was basically "were they good?", and anyway, it's become a Janet Jackson 'nip and tuck' thread... )
In the Ghost household, we each rated all the commercials 1-10; (the game was kind of secondary, although it did finally get interesting). Since the poll only allows 10 entries, here are our top 10 - vote away, or list the ones you think need honorable mention
Note that this is not an unbiased poll, as Ms. Ghost tends to downrate the Bud commercials on general principles (whereas I downrate them because I think beer should be made with BARLEY, but that's a different thread). Also, the Ghost boys tended to rate things involving flatulence and stuff getting blown up pretty highly.
Note: multiple votes are allowed! |

| Shoot, I can't edit my poll list, but the Mitsubishi commercial where they dumped grills and stuff in front of cars was just great!! That one got three 10's at our place... |

What no mention of Jessica Simpson and the Muppets ?!?
I also liked the Pepsi & iTunes spot with the kids who were prosecuted for downloading free songs - I think the Clash were playing in the background (I fought the law. . .) |

I love Miss Piggy! :D:D
You're right, there's too many other good ones left out, I'm going to check with our friendly moderator to see if we can get the 10 item cap lifted - stay tuned. |

The commercial with the referee who received his intense psychological home training that enabled him to withstand the torrent from the heated coach has to be the best by far. :awais: :o
My better half was a bit perturbed with the amusement I found in it (No! your not like that honey!). Her disappointing expression just exacerbated my laughter.:19: :19: |

Three cheers for our moderator, who expanded this into the most comprehensive Superbowl ad list of any automotive forum!:2party:

It was just before the game, part of the Pizza Hut pregame show.
Jessica starts to get a bit too familar with Kermit, Ms. Piggy, well, let's just say she doesn't take it too well. I bet we'll be seeing these again.
I couldn't find a clip, but there's some screenshots at www.Toughpigs.com
(man, some people have WAY too much time on their hands...) |
