FYI: The installation instructions on your website for the Steps are for the '03 (good for '01 - '03) and technically do not match the hardware that comes with the '04 Satin Chrome Steps (can't say for certain about the other steps). I had no problem using them since I had already installed steps on my old '01, but perhaps a little confusing to someone new.
In essence the new mounting brackets have changed (or the back two have, front is the same) and are in fact easier to install than the older ones. |
