Is anybody using a custom subwoofer enclosure? I have an amp running a Polk 10" and didn't like how it sounded when it was in the stock location so I got a custom box. It sounds much better in the box, but it's taking up space and IMO looks pretty ugly.
So, I'm looking for some ideas or examples of a custom box that will look somewhat stock and also be out of the way. I don't want to spend too much money, so it'll probably have to be made from wood. |

| You could also try getting a fiberglas enclosure installed in the stock location but it'd probably run about $200-$300. |

| I was getting estimates around $500-600 for fiberglass in the stock location. |

Try this. subbox.net
They seem to have it together.
Ask also about the woofer mounting rings they sell.
Read my last post.
Have a great day. |
