| Who does your oil change? |

| I had been doing all of my own oil changes since 1963, until a couple of years ago. I'm not as flexible as I used to be, and finally decided to just let it go and have the dealer -- or a trusted mechanic with my '93 Explorer -- do it. |

Like I said in the first oil poll, I like to do my own oil changes and prefer not to bring my car to the dealer as much as possible. I did have the dealer do the 7500, 15k and 30k service but after the warrenty is over (and if I decided not to extend). I will do more of the service item myself i.e differential fluid change, VTM change, brake pads...
I guess it is to be expected, with a more upscale car, owners are more likely to bring it back to the dealer. |

| I voted dealer, but I use both the dealer and Independants. Mostly the dealer however since the first 24K miles are free :1: |

This is an agreement between you and your dealer, right? This does not apply to all MDX's/Acura's, does it? I don't think I got this deal :( |

| What do I pick? I change the oil on my car, but my wife doesn't trust me to change it on her X?:19: :25: |

Used to do it myself but disposal of the oil became a pain. I then switched to lube places. With the MDX and then my Tundra I started going to the dealer. Other than it is not convenient (waiting or dropping\picking it up) the dealer is cheaper that than our local lube places and they give them a wash. I use a Honda dealer for the MDX.
