| I am so excited. Today I went car shopping for two cars, Volvo S60R and the TL. The acura dealer was my last stop and lo and behold they had a TL A-SPEC in Anthracite/Quartz with Nav., bluetooth, DVD audio, etc. This car is awesome standing still. A-SPEC includes suspension upgrades, 18" wheels/tires, complete aero-package, badging, etc. From what I understand the suspension upgrade takes care of MOST of the torque steer. But we all know this isn't a true sports car, it's front drive. So on to the test drive- I was sold immediately (didn't let on to salesman-no emotion), very nimble and tight, plenty of power, killer sound system- 5.1 surround CD is incomparable. All bells and whistles standard equipment. Nice touches like "graphed" titanium trim, faux carbon console. Nav screen looks to be 8-9 inches. Anyway, negotiations begin with dealer offering $790.00 off, I say keep going, he comes back again, anyways I end up with $2045.00 off MSRP. List price was $41,045.00. A-SPEC was $7850.00 installed. $33,195.00. I felt good about the deal, but I am sure they get you with the A-SPEC package somehow. Waiting 5 weeks for vehicle, patiently. Just thought I'd share. | I have driven that car also. One word, AWESOME. Not looking for one right now, but test drove it at a recent promo I got in the mail. Would like to have one in the color you're getting Lucky guy is what you are, but then I'm sure you work hard for your money, well done! |

Zafer, those pics are of the concept TL, in reality the aero kit isn't as aggresive as the concept, wheels are 18's with wide rubber, I'll post pice in about 4-5 weeks when it arrives.
X-Men, I actually didn't even drive the S60R, they were so busy and I had time constraints, however the Volvo is a better performer for sure, but I'd have to give the interior to the TL, more technology and feature laden |
