I just cancelled my VW Toureg order -V8-loaded. I had a 01 MDX that I turned in off lease n February. Thought I wanted something different - loved the T-Regs ability - but have determined the ongoing problems with electrical systems make the t-reg not worth getting for anouther year until VW can iron out their problems.

I loved the reliabilty of my old MDX and the navi is the best on market. So it's back to MDX for me -- 04 Black w/saddle./touring package w/navi, rolled side steps in black. Why mess with a good thing....:2:

Welcome back! Excellent decision--enjoy the '04 and still be off-lease in time for the next model change. Just keep an eye on your wheels' clearcoat. :D

doing 2 yr lease --- now I know clear coat is just normal wear according to the lease gods....;)

What kind of electrical problem does the Toureg have? You are not talking about the VW direct ignition coil problem are you? I thought they have fix that already.

THanks! -- Hey - off topic - how do you like your kyocera smartphone? I am toying with it or the Treo600 - problem is that Smartphone is off market until they fix some battery issues....

POS: I have the first model, JUNK pure Junk. Problem is i paid out the ying yang and have to live with it for now. The phone works fine, but when you try all the other fancy options, its riddled with bug's. Tech support sucko's big time. All they say is turn over the phone and "reset" it ! Well when said and done, you have lost all your enteries ! As far as the new model, it look nice, but I would have to talk to some customers to see if they are pleased with it. Already has battery issues......I'd stay clear of it.......

Good choice. I had a 2002 X before and had problems. Now have an '04 and am very happy with it thusfar. It's actually persuading me to rid of my 528i for an A-Spec.

i hope the navi is not the only reason you went for the mdx---u could have easily purchased the t-reg and added the new pioneer navi/dvd system. the t-reg kicks the mdx's ass!
