The offer is $465 shipped for the first 5 units, payment from the first 5 people either by paypal or credit card, or preferably money order, Shipping will be FedEx ground with tracking numbers.

The units come with everything listed on www.avelectronic.com any other accessories on the avelectronic.com can be ordered with the tv tuner for 10% off the list price.
All sales are final, no refund. The product comes with 1-year send in repair warranty. DOA (dead on arrival) Warranty must be reported within 7 days. There is no cheaper "play and play" way to tap into the navi screen. I've already tried! =) |

If only he would have this GB 2 weeks ago. I got in on StreetEffectz GB for $10 more.
As for the cheaper way. You could probably try to figure out how to modify the $125 "anaba" unit. Somone from the TL forum claim that this is the unit that AVelectronic uses.
I personally don't have the experties or time in trying to figure this out. I feel the $350 markup is well worth it. |

From Av website
"Important Note for owners of 2003/4 Acura MDX, 2004 Lexus RX330, and Infiniti FX35/45 with factory Rearview Camera: our system does not trick the factory navigation system so it does not mess up any of the navigation CPU/Rearview Camera functions." |

| I visited the URL link provided and reviewed the systems they have for sale. Forgive me for asking if someone has already answered, but I'm wondering which unit we'd be buying. Is it the "System 1: Navigation TV Tuner System"? |
|
|
| Warzau |
| It would be 1. The second one is a universal one, that one is for navi based vehicles not covered by 1,does that make sense. :4: |

:2: I would also like to get one of these kits. About a week ago, I placed an order for a Sagebrush pearl/Nav/RES with just about everything (expecting first week in April). Have purchased a Nokia bluetooth phone and car kit for installation and would like to wire Sam's kit in one-and-only-one take-apart operation.
I will check with The Garage to see if I can tag onto this group buy. I don't quite understand whether the deal is five-and five-only or a minimum of five.
I spoke with Sam at AVElectronics about a week and a half ago about the '04 installation. He said that the kit is basically plug-n-play but still requires splicing into the one video-out wire from the DVD player. He said that he had not yet seen an '04 Nav/RES to know which wire that was (changed from '03). Has anyone done the '04 Nav/RES installation and know what (color/ number) wire is involved? |

OK I looked at this site & there is no applications for the Acura/Honda Navigation unit. What car did you install yours in?
$399 is a very good deal if it works on our systems. |

Sounds like a pretty good price. I may be interested. How exactly does the install work? I looked at the site and couldn't find a MDX model. Can you tell me what the install involves? Thanks. |

The install on the MDX ways very easy. I cut 4 wires and attached them to there mod. Put +12V and GND.Hooked up a DVD and was on my way. Call them if you get a chance they are very helpful.
