Just one of the reasons I am not active on that forum. But, like this forum, there is a lot of useful information, too. |

Some stupid posts on acura-tl.com, but (IMHO) outweighed by useful posts like: First notice about Acura TSB on cr@ppy EL42 tires, debate on 6MT v. 5AT, news about the a-spec package, gas mileage, and lots of good info on prices and dealers.
Also suggest the forums at vtec.net, but they aren't as active. |

I think that is a topic that will recycle over and over again because most of the owners are probably younger and into the "my car is faster than yours" mentality. They want to convince themselves that they made the right decision by confirming that their car is faster than some other cars and if not, how to I modify to make it faster.
While here on the MDX forum, most of us are concern with safety, how to fit car seats on the X and what is the best configuration. You very seldom hear about how my X is faster than the Pilot or I raced X car this morning.
If you do visit the TL forum, you just need a bit of patience and search through some of the post. There are some that is very good and after a while, you will learn how to spot them.
I've been on car forums for about 10 years and trust me, the TL is actually pretty mild compared to some of the other ones out there. I used to be on the SOGI and Supra forum and someone actually got fired from his job because of stupid posts he made regarding to people with exotic cars. |
