In response to overwhelming demand (2 people), I hereby submit a couple of shots of this car. I did a ground up restoration in 1995, now it has 40,000 miles on it and is a driver. Still looks OK from 10 feet away. Still reliable, and a lot of fun. We now leave it in Florida year round, which doesn't help it, either. The color is Mallard Green, which was an MGB color, but only for the 1972 and 73 model years. The beige leather interior was also not right for 1967, but that is what my wife wanted. Nuff said!

| That interior pic reminded me of some good memories from 40 years ago. My boss got sent to France on extended assignment, and asked me to keep his MGA for him and to drive it often. Luckily, I had a Volvo PV-544, so I knew how to manage the care and feeding that the SU carbs required. Definitely a fun car! |

| Very nice! I had thought it was BRG, but I guess it's mallard. Looks nice with the beige interior. :7: |

I also have an MGA. I love the looks, but it is totally gutless. Some people put an MGB engine in it to give it a little get up and go. However, my wife and daughter both love it, so I keep it and drive it. However, have only put 4,000 miles on it in 7 years. |

| I just saw last weekend an old friend with whom I used to work -- over 40 years ago. He still has his '54 MG-TC(?), and still keeps it running. I've got to get over to see it, as I used to ride to work with him in it when I was first starting my career in engineering. What a classic beauty! |

If it is indeed a 1954, then it is a TF. Starting in the mid 30s, the designations were TA, TB, TC (first postward car), TD, and the last of the line , the TF. At the time, the TF was almost unanimously hated, because it was somewhat modernized. The grill was slanted back, the headlights were fared into the fenders, just softer in general. Today, many believe it is the best of the T series. I would love to have one, but my wife has cut me off from buying more british sports cars. Alas, it is a tough life. |

Chris, you're killing me here. An aquaintance is selling her MGTD and I am sorely tempted. It isn't completely original (larger replacement engine) and has a few problems but I love it. I just don't have the time to give it everything it deserves. She's willing to cut her asking price in half for me, but my wife thinks I'm crazy--we've got a 2nd little guy on the way. College or an MGTD, what do you think he'd prefer? |

If you have such a car, you will be so relaxed and mellow that you will work harder, make better decisions, get bigger raises and bonuses, and you will end up with both the car and the money for college! |
