I got my call today after 5 months of waiting.
I was given the VIN# and was told that the vehicle would
be ready by 4 pm tomorrow.
I had rear mud guards and rear window deflector installed.
I'll decide on other options later and will probably purchase them from Tim.
First impressions and pics will be posted later including impressions on the audio system and navi.
Thanks to all of you for helping me keep the faith during the wait.
I congratulate everyone else when they get their new MDX and I couldn't leave you out. Hope you enjoy your new MDX when you get it tomorrow. Let us know how it went at your dealership.

Thanks Imeans.Booo hoooo hooo... noone else cares :D :D
Anyway, the dealer experience went quite well. I expected much less from them judging by their lukewarm attitudes during the wait. I was taken by surprise .They even threw in wheel locks, moonroof visor cargo net and rear mud flaps for free.
NewJack-congrats!
Which part of NYC are you in?
What's more important, who is your "generous" dealer?
I am sure future generations of NYers will thank you.

Just don't say it's Paragon! I would never believ you!!! :(

When I ordered my MDX from the buying group, they are located in Long Island City, N>Y> near Paragon Acura, so I said to em, Your not gettin this vehicle from Paragon are U?
He looked at me like I had 3 heads and said [jokingly of course] Are You Drunk?? There the slime of N.Y. Dealers:
The Kind of people that would Spike the Punch at A.A. meeting!!

I used Plaza Automall in Brooklyn. I was skeptical of the salesman at first but Jennifer Henry was awesome. I think she would be the one to see.
Paragon?? No way!! My buddy bought an Integra there and has been regretting it ever since.
Yup, Plaza is OK! I delt with Danny and Jennifer. Both are OK, although Jennifer said that $2,500 is THEIR price for extended warranty!!! (B.S. :() and she could not do any better. Well, their loss. Otherwize, car buying and servicing experience at Plaza are a OK!
I was just out at the Brooklyn Acura last week trying to get the my nose guard reattached. They were pleasant but did not have the little screw required. Plus, they couldn't give me a wash. And after I drove there from Chi-town and all. What a bust.

Sorry, Clokspeed, I did not fully understand your post.

AoB Service dept is pleasant (especially Mike), but clueless about thud and a few other things just as any other dealership I guess. They also refused to "improvise" with leaky mirrors.
They did use "eye-brow tweezers" as they put it to pluck fuzzy hairs from my seats. :)

As far as a wash is concerned, they do not wash cars, but a cashier should give you a coupon for a car wash just a block away. She once forgot and I "innocently" reminded her. "Did you guys stop giving those coupons?" She apologized a 100 times and promptly found one. I think they give those coupons only to "high level" cars. :) I should know, I was there 5 times already!

Are any of you Brooklynites? I see quite a few MDXs around Bensonhurst, Sheepshead Bay, Midwood and Boro Park. We need those stickers to identify ourselves!!!
