How easy is it to adjust the drive belt? Is is something I can do myself? and what tools would I need? My car is due for a 30K service and I'm doing everything myself. Thanks in advance.

| I assume a drive belt should not need to be adjusted if the tensioner is working properly. However, I am not familiar with the Acura MDX adjustment you refer to? |

There is no adjustment to the timing belt or power steering pulley/belt during the 30k -- just an "inspection". The deflection #s are in the service manual and have been posted here somewhere in the not-too-distant past. U can do a search to find them.
If you're going to DIY, I'd recommend picking up the svc manual from Helm: www.helminc.com |
