I decided to get a new grill to replace the old Kenmore I bought years ago. After looking at various grills in and out of my price range I think I am going with a Jenn-Air from Lowes link
It is large enough to handle all the neighborhood get togethers (I have a pool) but is at a price point the wife is willing to accept. I really wanted this Weber link but couldn't justify the additional $350. Anyone have an reason not to trust the Jenn-air? Bad experiences?

| I would personally stay with the Weber brand. I had a Jenn-air and it didn't maintain as even a temperature as the Weber grill, and it did flare up more often than the Weber brand. I believe the engineering behind the Weber is much better as far as cooking at even temperatures and less flare up with the flames. An excellent grill for life if taken care of. Stick with the Weber IMHO. It's worth the extra couple of bucks or go for a smaller less expensive unit from Weber. The Jenn-Air is a good unit but personally feel the Weber to be a little more superior unit. |

| We have one and we've been very satisfied with it, especially due to its versatility. |

We have an indoor (built in) Jenn-Air and an outdoor Weber Genesis grill.
The Weber is absolutely excellent and we use it all the time even though we have to go out in the winter cold or summer heat to use it.
We used the convenient indoor Jenn-Air only once (it came with the house).
I know it's not an apples to apples comparison, but let's just say I'd buy another Weber in a heartbeat. |
