| at 48,900 my transmission died (2002 mdx) I drive alot and have always done necessary maintenance, just driving up a hill and it burnt out, smoke noisy and I was not moving, how lucky was I. warranty expires at 50,000 miles--I just made it. Scary to loose the tranny like that. must be a manufacturers defect. should have issued some type of recall. warning to anyone who is about to get out of warranty--have them check your tranny now!! |

Sorry to hear about your transmission problem. I am glad it happened before the warranty ran out!!! You are very lucky... buy yourself a lotto ticket....
