| I just bought 2004 mdx and I am having the "clunk" problems when I hit the brakes. Is this a fixable problem? I have a hard time unzipping the file. What do I have to do to fix it? |

johnkim,
Steps to fixing the problem:
(1) Take the MDX to the dealer.
(2) Tell the dealer to fix the problem.
(3) If the dealer gives you any problems, refer them to the Acura TSB.
(4) If the dealer persists in giving you a problem, call Acura and request that they contact the dealer.
Enjoy ... that is what warranties are for ... the official fix for this problem has been a long time coming (over 3 years) but it is finally here ... some dealers have not waited on Acura and have been fixing the problem (the brakes on our 02 MDX were de-thunked over a year ago). |

Welcome John!
Do you hear this all the time whenever you change the direction (according to acura pdf file)?
I just hear this once at the first break apply when I start my car and move out from the parking lot.
