Took my X to McGrath Acura in Westmont, IL for a 37.5K oil change and was treated to several creature comforts while waiting. They have an indoor putting green with three holes on which I was able to sharpen my putting skills. Then went over to the computer cubby hole and logged on to this plus several other forums I belong to, to check on the latest. When I finished surfing, my car was done and freshly washed, ready for me to drive home. The best part was the service consultant went to bat for me on the price of synthetic oil. They had just got a 55 gallon drum of the stuff in the day before so he only charged me $20 more for the upgrade when their computer said $8/quart. Combined with the $3 off coupon they mailed me, it cost less than a quick change place for the same service if you include the car wash.:cool:
PS Renov8r: The 3 MDXs on the floor were "dripping" with dealer added accessories so some things never change!:rolleyes: |
