Folks, I had this idea for a while, so it is time to act on it.
I was thinking that we should create an FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) on the MDX and the site, and build it interactively with all the members participating.
Here is how it's going to work. I have created 2 forums, called MDX FAQ and SITE FAQ. If you feel that a new entry should be made (initially everyone should think that), start a new thread. Make sure thread's title reflects the Question part of Q&A. In the body of the thread, restate the question, e.g. Q: What does MDX stand for? And state the answer, e.g. A: MDX stands ...
If the question or answer has been discussed in deapth, include a link to the discussion at the bottom of the thread.
I'd like to see the questions be more or less general, let's not try to have every single question ever asked, but just frequently asked.
I will create an FAQ section on the site that will pull the information all of us submitted to those forums.
The forums are here:

Thanks to all!

If we are not careful this could get out of hand. I'd recommend that the moderators keep an eye on this worthwhile project. |

I agree with Msu. We really don't want tons of people adding comments to the FAQ postings...Couple of them are okay. It should get to be another thread.....AmI right in understanding you Msu ?
I think you should choose some of your old members as moderators to these folders who can review postings before publishing.
Thanks, |
