have anyone encountered a power steering noise turning when the car is not moving?.
I sometimes hear a whining or groaning when your car is not moving and you have a tight space that you want to turn your wheel sharpy .
If you just let your wheel rolling while turning sharp left or right then you don't hear that noise.
anyone got similar problem? |

| Could be a loose belt or low on fluid. Check for a leak under car. |

| Are you turning the wheel 100% to one side ? Almost any car will make a groaning noise...can't remember exactly why but I think it strains the power steering pump. You want to avoid doing it and if you have to don't do it long. |

If your car is making a high pitch noise while turning the wheel to one side, it is a power steering belt or pulley problem. If your car is making a groaning noises, it can be caused by restrictions, low fluid level or air in the system.

| I have the same issue with my 2003 Honda Pilot. I've told the dealership about it several times and they have failed to diagnose and repair it. They don't seem to think it's a problem. |
