just curious if anyone knows the performance stats for the 04 x.
i know its not a sports car, but it feels much quicker (from the demo model i tried before i bought, not the new one...not broken in yet) than the ml350, and the bmw x5 3.0.
simply wondering if the feel is close to the facts..

Performance car time for 0-60 is going to be in the low 5's and under.
7.5 for the X sounds right.....very very respectable for an SUV! |

Badulla is on the money. my stang pulls 0 to 60in 4.8, so 7.5 for the X is not bad at all!!! I neber really checked my 03 X. Wasn't the 01, & 02 240hp?

Yes it is. But Motorweek pulled 7.6 sec on an '01 during a televised road test. Most other publications have put the 01 and 02 right around the 8 sec mark. |

| wow....where the hell did this car review in my newspaper for the 04mdx get there times from........says mdx was a tad faster than the rx330 in the 9sec zone........pretty off |

Without putting greater undue stress on the tranny, not sure you will gain much more than by keeping it floored through 1,2, and 3....which will get you redline each time. Forget, 4th and 5th.. you will already be well past 60. Don't see a lot of skill there. |
