Having lost family members at the hands of a drunk driver, I have absolutely zero tolerance for driving drunk. Fortunately I rarely drink myself, so its not an issue with me. With my kids, I told all three that if they ever get into a situation where they need to drive or drive with a drunk driver to call me for a ride and I will never ask ANYTHING or ever even mention the event regardless of who what or where. One of my kids took me up on that offer. I can still feel the bite marks on my tongue!
Another of my kids learned a hard lesson when my wife found some empty bottles under the seat of her car. One time, we sold the car.

The three pole respondants who admitted driving drunk but not caught should consider themselves lucky. Not that they did not get caught, but that they did not kill anyone.

End of soapbox.

Maik,

Sorry to hear that.

As for myself, I don't drink.

It is funny how they ban ephedra for causing the death of 150 people while cigarettes and alcohol always get a free pass.

That wouldn't have any thing to do with the power of the lobby organizations would it? I'm certainly not a non-drinker myself, although I've not actually been drunk in years.
