Does anyone have any guidance on what to use to remove the cover to replace the airfilter? I cannot get a screwdrived down the side it almost has to be some sort of flexible shaft device. What is everyone using?:4: :4:

cmjcrj700pilot,

You must use an extremely long phillips screw driver to remove the screws that secure the air filter box. Good luck.:29:

12"+ Phillips or better yet, a 12"+ nutdriver. Don't get a beefy one; it needs to be thin. I dunno the size of the nut down there, though.

I got the longest phillips screwdriver Home Depot had (10-12"). Be prepared to really work to loosen those screws--they're seriously torqued down!

Timing is everything....I was at the $1 store yesterday and they had a set of long phillips and flathead screwdrivers that were about 12" (one of each for $1 total) . I didn't need them and knew they were cheepo's but for a buck I coudn't resist having an extra set in the glove box.....Now I will actually get to use them......and don't get me started on the $1 set of exacto knives I found......:D :2:
