| I have owned my MDX for a little over a year now, and I was just told about this forum by another friend!!! This is the nicest, most informative discussion board I have come accross!!.....Now the sad part is, I wish I had found this place earlier as I'm right now in the process of getting ready to sell my MDX due to my financial situation :( Oh Well! at least I can be a "full" member for a few more days/weeks :) |

Stick around -- you don't have to go away. Many of our members have hung around for a long time without owning an X. Besides, you might be able to find a good deal on a used X here.
And thanks for the compliment (we think we're a great board too!) |

Oh yes, several of us got on this forum before cementing our decision to purchase. Kind of the reverse of your situation. Great to have you here!
Hope things work out for you financially.
In the meantime stick around even after you sell. Lots of kinds of info here, besides MDX stuff. We like to think we are the number one when it comes to auto forums, and relative to the MDX we must be. We are not ALWAYS nice though... :p |

Thanks for the welcome and all the kind replies!
I love my MDX to pieces, and trust me, I'm giving it up with a very very heavy heart! I have not had a single problem with it in the 25K miles I've driven. But in the end I must make the "responsible" decision, not an emotional one. I also have a 1995 Lexus LS 400 with only 80K mi, that is paid off (which has also been absolutely trouble-free), and am hoping that in 2 - 3 yrs once my finances are back in order, I can get the next generation MDX, and once again become an MDX owner along with all of you guys! :)
I will hang around here and be part of the MDX group, at least in spirit! :D |

JessieMDX,
Try not to trade if you can. Put your baby up on Ebay may help. Did you buy Lotto ticket today? Hopefully, you can win some. Mega Lotto is up to more than 40 Mil. |

Sell the Lexus and use that to pay off some of the X..... Don't get rid of the X - you can get a nice penny for the Lexus....

| Welcome Jessie... stick around even after you sell the MDX, your experience and knowledge on this vehicle would probably help many of us new X owners. |

JessieMDX,
Given a choice to pick a toy, would you like pick an old or a new boy.
I think if you sell your old LS the MDX would be save to stay w/o given you any headache with penny counting.
Plus you feel true honor to be a real participant by actually driving the cool dude and enjoy all of the rants and raves.
Otherwise, you'd be like a blind to touch an elephant's trunk. Driving an old LS and trying to figure what you are missing from MDX. :8: |
