Taming the Coin Tray - Click HERE for Original Thread

OK...so you've gotten used to the heap of disorganized change in the bin marked "Not an Ashtray". How many dimes and quarters are under your floormat? Or, are you using it for trash? What was the Acura Design team thinking?

Anyway, this will work 'til they figure it out...or maybe the '02's will have "pen caps" as "optional" equipment.

Looks great. It just seems like a chore to have to straighten it out after every trip!
That's great. Since the invention of the E-Zpass (automatic payment of tolls via a transponder) in the notheast, I only use change for parking meters and gas.
... Mini M&M tubes to store quarters. The small plastic tubes that Mini M&Ms come in is the exact size to hold a stack of quarters.

We use the "Not an Ashtray" to hold the small stuff; the nickels, dimes and pennies.

OK...not trying to sell you on using the coin tray vs. whatever else...but this works perfect if used as intended. BTW...it doesn't slide around after every trip. Only thing that might slide would be the first couple of coins in an uneven row but the grooves do a decent job of keeping them in place once stable. Goes 0-60 in 6 sec, tested at highway speeds of 85 and above and stops on a dime. :)

...or the 35mm photo film canisters which I use.
