Finally getting ready for the summer driving and ordered a Passport 8500 X50. The best price I found was at https://www.litewarehouse.com/catal...x.php?cPath=39. I'll see how their service is and report back.
Tuan runs a good site, your service should be fine. I have dealt with him in the past.:) |

| If you seen my older posts I had the 8500 and it is great. It just would have too many false alarms. I just bought a new 8500 x50 off of ebay for $260 shipped. |

Manus, my man! You have been scarce around these parts. What's happening....anything new on modding the X? Tips? Suggestions? |

I have one small, new mods. If you check out my old pics of the 8500 passport you can see the wire. I now run the power from accessory fuse so all wires are hidden and all that can be seen is the 8500 x50 display above the rearview mirror. Also we'll be picking up an inverted cone filter for the intake that will plug right into the that stock air feeder thing that comes up from under the bumper to where the airbox would be. This will allow me to get all the benefits of an aftermarket cold air intake however won't suck up water from large puddles like a short arm intake. Will post more pics soon hopefully.
Other then that I've been working 6 days a week. I'm at the library now on my lunch brake. The new pics you posted look great, your paint still looks factory new. |
