A trip to the NHL HOF or a jaunt to the Sky Dome if the Jays are in town. Looks like the Rangers are in town, it would give you a chance to catch up with Soriano and Showalter.:17:

The CN towers glass floor, and go eat at Marché Mövenpick.

CN Tower (right beside Skydome) is a must for Saturday, its going to be a nice sunny day.....you can see for miles, I mean kilometres.

also checkout

- Yorkville - trendy shops and restaurants

- walk along Harbourfront

- on the southside of Skydome, across the street, get a tour of the micro-brewery

Yes, that's great for the kids, take the Ferry to Toronto Island, but Centerville may not be open yet.

It's open on the weekend

The Science Center in Toronto is located at Eglinton Ave. and Don Mills Road.
Their is only one in Toronto, the other one is located several hours north of the city.

Another place for the kids is Canada's Wonderland (amusement park),
about 20 minutes north of the city, in Daniels territory.

Wonderland is a whole day thing, and way more expensive, includes alot of adult rides.

Your kids are 12 and under then, Centerville is cheaper, will have as much fun, (not knowing about Wonderland) its downtown, and will enjoy the 10 minutes ferry ride too.

Wonderland is like Disney World, Centerville is like a small amusement park surrounded by parkland.

We went to Wonderland today. Pretty nice place and the lines were not that long taking into consideration it was Memorial Day Weekend and a Saturday.

Trying CN Tower tomorrow.

FYI: no such thing as Memorial Day in Canada. We observe Remembrance Day in most (not all ) parts of the country on Nov. 11.

Consider seeing the Royal Ontario Museum.

I realized that when my niece had to go to school this morning (Monday).

Thoughts on the city?????

Other attractions you saw????

We were so busy this weekend with my friends family reunion that we didn't get to do that much but we did visit Wonderland, went to the Castle, did the Harbour area and we were able to hit the casinos.

The kids loved Wonderland and chose to go a 2nd day rather than go to the CN Tower.

As for Toronto, my impression it is a very progressive city with vast suburbs, malls, etc . I found the people to be much friendlier as compared to NY but then again, who isn't .

I just wish we had more time there. The only drawback is that the temperature is about 10 degrees cooler than NYC when we were there and I can only imagine how cold it gets during the winter.

I don't know why I'm going to Toronto, but I am. We were going to visit Napa Valley but the flights were too hard to arrange to SF or west coast in general over a weekend using FF miles and on short notice.

Anyway, there are some great suggestions for stuff to do here, despite the fact the Jays are out of town. :( Any suggestions for hotels downtown ?

As I recall, the Hotel Delta Chelsea is one of the nicer ones in town :)

We went by the Rogers Centre and the CN Tower but I didn't see her. She must have been by the Air Canada Centre. We did visit the downtown Hooter's. I bet she'd get hired in a heartbeat. Or as a life preserver on one of them harbor boats. :)

Stayed at the Marriott Eaton Centre. Nice place, but the rooms could use some updating. We took the bus to Niagara. First time I saw the falls from the Canadian side...very cool.
