HI,

I'm looking to get a new Acura TL or Acura MDX. I need some help in deciding between the 2. Please help me out guys.

Also any pics of your MDX's hooked up. Rims and the like.

What monthly prices should i expect to pay on lease or finance?

Thanks

redline,

You may want to post some details of what you're looking for and how you plan to use the car. Or else everyone here will say get the X while TL forum will say get the TL!

You should check the Gallery for pictures. There are some nice X to see there.

For financiing/leasing, I would avoid thinking of the cost based on monthly payment as it can be mainipulated quite easily based on terms. Instead, figure out how much you want to spend on the car including TTL (say $40K) and then determine what financing or lease you can get/afford.

My last car was a BMW M3. It got stolen on 6/4. The police found it 4 days later at 5am in an accident. Here are the pics i took of it in the police impound.

While i've always driven sports cars before, i'm thinking about a change to an SUV. Im in central NJ and snow is sometimes an issue.

My main reason for thinking the TL is i love the toys it has. Voice contol nav, radio, and climate. 5.1 DVD-a stereo, XM radio standard, bluetooth.

I know the MDX has the voice nav and backup cam.

The only turnoff i have on the TL is front wheel dr. On the MDX i wish it had a better stereo, xm radio, and bluetooth.

I like the roominess and the higher seating, plus i sometimes go out with a group and i'm always the designated driver. having the extra seating would be nice.

I've got both a TL and an MDX. The TL is a lot more fun to drive (I've got the 6MT, which makes a big diff). I bought my TL in January, and w/Bridgestone Blizzaks the snow was NOT a problem at all.

The MDX is a great SUV. We bought it to replace a Ford Explorer. The X is light years better than the Explorer. Aside from the the points you mention above, another thing to consider is gas mileage. The X is moving around about 1,000 pounds more than the TL. Right now I'm getting high teens on the highway with my X (about 1,100 miles) and 28-29 with my TL.

I puchased my TL from Montclair and leased the X from Bridgewater.
