Can I hook up video screens to the factory DVD player? Maybe with a splitter?
I just purchased a 2002 MDX, fully loaded with Nav, memory seats, fender flares, bose etc. , is there anything I need to Know about this vehicle. It has 25000 miles on it. It has 20's on it as well.
Does this vehicle come with a back up camera? If not, can I install one pretty easily?
Will the navigation talk to me when I use. I know I can't talk to it, but I like hearing the lady. At least in the beginning anyway.
Is there anyway to soup up the engine that won't void the warranty, like a K&N filter or chip?
Thanks for your help.

You will find that there TONS of threads about adding cool air intake/performance air filter.
Some threads about the factory DVD or "RES" aka rear entertainment system.
Plenty of info about 'dubs' or bigger wheels.
I would think in the "need to know" category you ought to investigate RECALLS -- especially the TRANSMISSION.
Fortunatley with only 25K miles you hould still OK for warranty work.

Dan,
Congrats and welcome to the board!
As for the backup camera, you can add that on as an accessory. I'm not sure about your "do it yourself" knowledge. Also, there are units that allow you to watch the video on the navigation unit.
I used streeteffectz for my video install. I highly recommend them. |
