| Where can I buy a leather armrest for a 2001 MDX?

The current one is not leather and scratches easily. Do the newer MDXs have leather armrests?
I'm talking about the wide armrest piece between the driver and passenger seat.

Do these have the cup holder and tray underneath like the '01s so that when you open it up all the way the rear passengers can use it as a tray and cup holder? |

"A lot cheaper"? From $25 to $100, not sure what words to use here but "a lot cheaper" doesn't seem to capture it. |

| I was telling my wife that the armrest would be my next purchase from Tim...... %$#& that!!!!! What the he!! kind of price hike is that??? The 04 has the same armrest as the 03??? Not like they aren't still making them?? I would think the vinyl ones would be more seeing as they are not in production?? Tim usually posts prices that seem "appropriate" but $100 for an armrest?? Good luck selling this product Tim!! |

I guarantee that what happened is that Acura made the price so cheap because they assumed that they would only be replacing them under warranty, and not retailing as many as we did here. Sometimes Acura, and other car companies, will frequently price parts below cost so that they won't have to pay the dealers much markup on warranty claims. Warranty claim markup is 40% (a lot more than my markup).
And that's what happened in this case.... |
