Does anyone have a photo of the back of the factory dvd player which shows the connectors?
I am trying to figure out whether the factory dvd player uses a standard PC type dvd-rom player with IDE and voltage connector.

The DVD player is not a consumer grade computer DVD player.
It is an OEM automotive grade DVD player with a unique Honda specified interface connector.

So it's not possible that inside the OEM automotive grade DVD player is a consumer grade computer DVD player?
Just wondering whether it might be possible to open up the OEM DVD player and replace the inside player...
Has anyone ever opened one of these units up? |
