I took some pics today of the X so far. The job isnt done, I will take pics when its completed (which should be by next weekend). Still left is the kickpanels, side panels on either side of the sub box, mount the distros, top piece to go over audison amps and to finish off the putting back the factory trim. Let me know what you think and sorry for a couple blurry pics and the sun. The sub box and side trim panels are almost identical colour matched vinyl of the factory moulding.

| Looks real nice! I love that color by the way. I almost bought one(Perl White), but it had too many "test drive" miles for my liking. I would love to put a real system in my X, but the wife would never let me.......boooo. |

BTW the SAMS unit is also in it but I also have the output going to the factory RES unit. The voice activation as well as the navi voice(female) is still working and playing through the stock tweets and the twiddler. There is also a XM Commander and Sirius 920S controller in the center console. I may change that later and fabricate an encloser for them where the sunglass holder was on the 03 MDX's (04's dont have that anymore) . If ya notice the factory DVD player is gone and replaced with an Audio Control DDC which controls the DQX in the rear. There is a Clarion DVD/CD/VCD/MP3 player that will be on the left side panel in the rear for the video system.
Quite alot of work getting it this far (approx 5 weeks) but its near the finish line and then comes the months of tuning :) |
