| Taking a trip at the end of the month and considering the purchase of a portable Nav/gps system. Anyone have an opinion/experience regarding the Magellan 700, or the Garmin 2620? Thanks |

I bought the Magellan Roadmate 700 a couple of month ago. I have been very pleased with it. I use it in my MDX, in my wife's RX 300, and in rental cars (I travel with my job to some out of the way places). I like being able to move it between vehicles, and not having to choose and upload maps for different locations. Magellan recently released upgraded firmware that added several new features. :)
You might want to look at this forum: GpsPassion Forums. The site has forums dedicated to each units. You should also search this site; these units have been discussed extensively. You may also want to search the forums at the sister Honda Pilot site, where aftermarket units have also been discussed frequently.
