Howdy Folks!
I've been trying to put together a full size spare for several months. So far, eBay has been mostly an aggravation because I get outbid each time at last second. In fact, there's one on eBay now that I'm bidding on but fully expect to lose also.
I've seen a few of these available on acuramdx.org, but they seem to go quickly. So, wth, I'll try here anyway. I need a 2003 Touring wheel, and ideally I'd like it with a Michelin Cross Terrain.
Any of you guys or gals have one or more of these laying around? If so, please reply or PM me so we can try to work something out. Thanks. |

Unless you intend on maintaing a 5-Tire rotation, then ANY year/trim model rim will work for a FSS. When we traded the old '01 for the '04 the dealer did not want the FSS so we kept it. Our '04 Touring has an '01 Touring rim for the FSS (but it does not matter since we do not do 5-tire rotations).
I offer this suggestion because it should increase your chances of landing a rim at a good price. |

Try: http://car-part.com/ Scroll down the parts list to "Wheels".
Tires: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...ssPageName=WDVW
Average '03 wheel seems to be about $150. I got my '01 touring wheel for $100 (new CT tire was another $50) with only small scratch on the lip, and it's part of my 5-tire rotation now since I might not want to use Cross-Terrains again when I replace all the tires. |

Thanks guys. Not really interested in other options at this point.
Just looking for a 2003 Touring Wheel and Tire from MDX owner.
Since lots of owners upgrade their wheels, my guess is that there are plenty of '03 owners who have one or more of these sitting in garage and just never got around to selling them. If not, no biggie. |

Thanks for the post Zafer, but I already called and talked to vadim about that wheel and tire. He originally bought it for a FSS. When he took it in to have tire mounted, the Acura dealership told him that it had a pin hole leak. But the tire has supposedly not leaked since mounted. Given that a spare tire is designed to sit unused for often great lengths of time, then must work or you're stranded, I'm a little leary of wheel that may have leak in the first place. Wouldn't want to find out on side of road years from now that my FSS was flat. Would be better off with a can of fix-a-flat. |

| Isn't it under warranty? Won't a dealer replace it? |
