| Does anyone know the weight of the stock 17 inch rims. I have a 2003 MDX. I have searched all the dub threads and learned a lot about fitment but there were no posts on weight. I am looking into 19 inch rims but would like to go with a light weight rim. Any info would greatly be appreciated. |

I think the stock wheel weighs about 20-25 lbs.
Please see this post if you are interested in selling one of your stock rims with tire. Thanks. |

I'm pretty sure that it is 27.5lbs.
I've been doing some research into 20's and wanted to know the weight of the stock rims. |

| The stock rim is surprisingly light. To be exact the stock rim alone is 19.5lbs To feel a noticeable difference you have to have a least a 4lb change. Magnesium and Titanium forged rims are the lightest. Velox RPM is the lightest rim out there in 17" and plus sizes that will fit the MDX. It is strong enough to support the weight of the MDX as well. The 17" model is around 14lbs and is in the ball park of $400 per rim for the 17" I think. I think there 19" weighs the same as our 17" stock rims. |

| Manus1980, thanks for your reply. Have you weighed your rims when you switched to dubs? Thanks for the info. It will definately make my wheel hunt more expensive. |
