First of all they look like a 'version' of the McCulloch which are no longer sold under that name. Note they have no external relay which alarms some HID enthusiasts, but the polarity and overload protection is built-in. The wiring looks ok..hard to tell from the pic.
McCulloch's do not have a sterling rep for reliablity, but as I have one (as well as a friend that does) and ours have been beaming away for about 2 years now, and have no complaints.
The warranty is the big thing. Even though 300 is a great price, it's still a nice chunk of change. I would want to see a copy of the written warranty and all conditions before ordering.
8000K looks 'nice' but does reduce the total output. Which is still well above the output of the stock halogens. |
