| Here is what I think. We get the recall notice and they check the transmission and decide to put that jet in. Well I have driven 30K without it and whos to say that the Life of the transmission is not less now than would be expected. I say we group together and tell Acura they need to extend the warranty on the tranmission at least to 70k. Who is with me! |

The jet is to prevent a very specific problem, and it is not a common one. It is not put there to prevent all the other tranny failures that happen. So your risk of it failing because you did not do the recall is quite low. |

Of course we are all with you, but considering we are less than 1% of the total owners, I doubt we are considered important.
Since the tranny failures are easily exceeding 1%, and you can see the attention they get from Honda. Although, they don't have voices, even if they are sometimes noisy...
