| And if so where is his likely new home and is he worth it considering his age? |

| I'd say that a three way deal with the Cubs, BoSox and Arizona isn't too likely. True that Cubs want Nomar but Randy cannot stand Schilling and would prefer NYY where his chances of a championship is somewhat greater. |

| I voted with my heart. Arizona. If they make another Schilling-esq trade, there are going to be a lot of angry season ticket holders (and fans) here. :3: |

| I'd really like to see him as a Bosox. With Schilling, Pedro and the Unit against this Yankee lineup. Yet another classic. |

I'd tell you that most of us Arizona fans would live with a trade to Boston. Trading him to the Yanks on the other hand would be cause for a GM lynching. |

| Right now, the Yanks don't need Johnson. I'd rather have Moyer because it wouldn't cost as much. |

| is it true that Johnson can't stand Schilling? He reportedly said part of the reason he changed his phone number was to avoid Schilling's calls. |

LL, since when does need enter the equation. The Yanks can and often do pile up talent. George may just get Johnson and Moyer.... |

And he'd be playing by the rules. Unilke many of the other owners in baseball, Georgie puts the money back into the brand. |

Just found this old post.
You know, their is a LOT of debate about that around here. It seems like all Arizona fans either love Curt and hate Randy or vice versa (I actually love both of them). But I don't think there is much to this rumor. Schilling does have a reputation for being a bit of a phoney though, so its possible. They do have houses in Paradise Valley that are only a couple of blocks away from each other, BTW. |

| The way the Yankees are pitching, we need Johnson. I think when all is said and done, he'll be in pinstripes. |

You know, this one is really hard for me to read. But I do hope that you are wrong. Won't have to wait too much longer to find out. |
