Thanks for starting this thread.
I am thinking about trading in the 02 MDX for another SUV. The 04 MDX is at the top of my list, but I am a little sceptic with the transmission problems Honda/Acura has.
Some other SUV's that I have been thinking about are the VW Tourag (sp?) and the Volvo XC90. I have yet to test drive or even sit in the cabin of these vehicles. Does anyone have any insight into these?

| As far as the Touareg, keep in mind that this model is new and I've heard complaints about service being very difficult to get when needed. A lot of these vehicles were sold without first getting the infrastructure in place to support them so new owners have considerable waits ahead of them for service and/or parts. It would probably be better to wait another year if you're interested in this model. |

| I also heard that the Tourag has alot of electrical problems and that the parts are very hard to get. There are so many Tourags on the VW dealer's lot in the northeast that are now subjected to substantial discounts. |
