| I was trying to get someone to the airport today and got stranded in traffic on a highway for literally 2 hours with the tank on E. Finally was able to get off on an exit to fill up. Thought the MDX lost gas feed for a moment (or imagined this) as I was going around the exit ramp. Trip computer indicated I had a range of 8 miles and gas needle was lower than I thought it could go below E. Made it to a BP Amoco and pumped 18.3 gallons into the 19.1 tank. Moral of the story is you can go below E but the trip computer has little or no built in cushion. |
