Hi,
I recently purchased a 2001 MDX and this is my first post to the forum. My first question is:
How can I get access to a newer navigation DVD? Can they only be purchased through the dealer or can they be group purchased?
I have an active CARFAX account until July 28th. Feel free to login and produce a report for your cars.

Thanks for your carfax info ! And welcome to the board !
You will have to purchase the Navi DVD from Alpine. Some dealers may have it also, but it depends on the individual dealer. If you do a search here on Navi Updates you will get plenty of information. As far as I know, there is no group buy on these updates.
You can go to acura's website and proceed to the Owners link, and there if you are already registered, you should see a link for Navigation upgrade !
