I found a chrome plated rim service on ebay called OEMEIM INC where they asking people to trade in the regular wheels come with the 04 MDX in return for the same set of wheels with triple plated chrome. The cost is $500 plus 2 times shipping. (The first time pay for the wheels to ship from the company and the second one when buyer ships the non-plated back to the company). They warranty for 1 year but I just want to find out if anyone is currently have these plated wheels and what's your experience with this? Is this worth the money spent and how long it would last?

How about the Falken Koblenz wheels? These are nice and not bling bling. I was considering this for my MDX but the wife is giving me a hard time.
Total out of the door price is around $2600 for the wheels and Nitto 404 255/50/20 tires from Discount Tires. You could swap the tires for 275/45/20 and save $300.
I ordered extra sensors and the Koblenz will accommodate the tire sensors.

I had a friend that used them too. It's been 3 years and the chrome still looks good. I know someone else has used them in the forum for his MDX. |
